What your future plans are for your career?
My future plans for my career is to become licensed and work in an environment where I am going to work every day making a difference in someone’s life. Whether it is a SNF or outpatient, I want a career where I am out there making a contribution to the world and making it a better place for someone.
What you do in the community to help others?
Ever since high school, I have learned how important it is to help others that are less fortunate than you. Last year I enjoyed spending my time at an organization for troubled/less fortunate teens in Beaverton called Westside PAL. Spending time with these kids is a great opportunity to develop relationships with them and feed off their positive energy.
How this scholarship has benefited you?
This scholarship has tremendously helped me out with helping pay for tuition and fees. Through grants and this scholarship I no longer have to stress about the financial aspect of school and can put more of my time towards my studies and focusing on aspects involving physical therapy.
Anything else you think is important to say?
I just want to say thank you again for this wonderful scholarship and most importantly for establishing a scholarship to remind and let people know just how wonderful of a person Kerri Foland was.
Thank you so much.
