It's official Friday March 8th at 7 pm the music group Bridgetown from Warner Pacific College will be performing a concert at Sandy Assembly of God to benefit the Kerri Foland Scholarship!

I will also be having items for a silent auction.  If anyone has any ideas or wants to donate items for a basket please email me j.layng85@gmail.com

I am so excited for this opportunity.  It will be a great night listening to some wonderful music, fellowship, and supporting a great cause!

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

A piece of scripture Kerri chose for her memorial. A wonderful reminder that no matter what trials and tribulations we go through we always have the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ!  Kerri may have suffered a terrible disease and mourned the fact she was leaving her family and friends, but she also rejoiced in the promise she had. She was going to a far better place with no suffering, no pain, and no tears.  Kerri lives on with the Lord and we will one day meet again!

A BIG thank you to MHCC Foundation for sending out the donation letters to the PT clinics in the Portland Metro area!  It was greatly appreciated!  Now we will wait and see if donations trickle in.

At this time we will not be able to organize a RESCUE concert but I hope in the future we will have the opportunity to do a fundraiser with them.  I will be working on coming up with other ideas to help raise funds.

We will soon find out who the 2nd scholarship recipient will be, school is about to start!

Thank you to all who have supported me in this endeavor!  We will continue to work toward that $25,000 goal!
